Shallow Hal Analysis
I just watched Shallow Hal for the third or fourth time. It's sick. I wonder if Jack Black would get over the fact that he kissed the maid instead of his girl who was talking to guests in the going away party. She is disgusting for being such a fat face and he loves her anyway. I think anyone else would have gave up on the chase of beauty in the fat f***. He took her out at the end of the movie which made the assumption that they were going to get married based on her carrying him out. He couldn't have done it because she was too heavy. I agree that some people are beautiful on the inside but give me a break. This relationship is bull s*** that gives a happy feeling of dork satisfaction. If you like dorks, the movie is a hit. I think Shallow Hal is fun, but I doubt that another man that was hypnotized would stay with the same relationship to begin again when so much effort was given off to begin with that would have left the man exhausted. So maybe I'm saying, exhaustion wins over love. What do you think?
